Overview
Colli Fiorentini is a very pretty stone farmhouse with sweeping views of hills blanketed with vineyards and olive groves. With walls dating back to the 17th century, the house's interiors have been thoroughly modernised in a style that blends traditional elements with modern preferences for space and light. The furnishings and fittings follow the same theme, fully air condtioned combining comfort and convenience with a sprinkling of antiques. A well-kept garden with lawns leads down to a swimming pool and hot tub set on a terracotta terrace facing the sunset over the Chianti hills. Al fresco meals can be served under the large loggia positioned for the best view, where a built-in barbeque/wood oven lends itself to traditional Tuscan fare. The villa is ideally located for walking and mountain biking, within a short distance of the small village of San Vincenzo a Torri and easy reach of Florence.

In a gently rolling landscape of fields and vineyards at the edge of a village within the Chianti Classico wine area. Two cantina's within easy reach offering wine tasting, I Lami, 400m/yards and Torigiani, 4km/3miles. The nearest shops and restaurants are in San Vincenzo a Torri, 300 meters/yards. Montelupo, with its 9-hole golf course, is 7km/4 miles away, and horseback riding is available in the hamlet of Cerbaia, 3km/2 miles. It’s a short drive to Florence, 11km/7 miles, or tram service, Villa Costanza, 5km/3 miles, duration about 10 minutes into the centre of Florence to the main train station Santa Maria Novella. San Gimignano, 30km/19 miles, Siena or Pisa, 60km/40 miles, close enough for a day's excursion.
