Overview
Casale Montecimbalo is surrounded by a stunning garden with lawns and a large swimming pool and is just minutes away from the beaches of Tarquinia Lido. This is a summer house with large rooms that are furnished in a simple but functional manner, ideal if one wants to enjoy a real Italian summer seaside destination. Tourists rarely venture here, Rome is just an hour away acts as a magnet. One is left with that feeling of maybe this is what the Tuscany coast must have been 30 years ago. The garden that surrounds the house is beautifully kept, a large free style pool, with pool house with bar, kitchenette and bathroom, comfortably fitted with garden furniture for sun bathing or reading in the shade is set to one side of the house. A one hole golf course is past the pool with mature olive trees in the properties fields. The owners have also installed a mini football pitch doubled as a volley ball court, separate games room with ping-pong table and bathroom; another attraction for a party with lots of children. The property is perfectly located for getting around the area; the long driveway to the house enters directly onto the “Aurelia” Superstrada from which you can access both Rome and Monte Argentario in about 1 hour.

Tarquinia, 5km/3 miles from the property, is a hill town surrounded by Roman walls. Some 3,000 years ago it lay at the centre of the Etruscan civilization; their necropolis and the artefacts displayed at the Palazzo Vitelleschi, are among the town’s prime attractions. But the main draw here is the dark sand beach at Tarquinia Lido, about 7km/4miles.
