Unfortunately i didnt have enough time to blog last night as i was incredibly tired however here i am! I finished my figure drawing which we have been working on for two weeks, it came to that moment of time in which i'm satisfied with what i have and if i try and work anymore on the drawing it will probably end up going downhill so i have decided to let it be, i would have spent more time working on the portrait however i realised that if i try working on top of what i have it will simply stratch the paper and create a grey-flat effect.

New week which means a new portrait, this week we decided to go on and draw a friend of mine and only this morning on my way to Borgo did i realise what this means...i need to do a really good job on this portrait considering he's a friend and will want to show other friends of ours, PRESSURE PRESSURE PRESSURE!! We picked the best spot in the room, right in the middle which gives us plenty of shadow and to my amazement this really helped me as the first thing i was able to pin down was the van-dkye-z and then from there everything fell into place smoothly. So far i have got in a basic contour and shadow pattern on the face, the last thing i was working on was the hair and he has very voluminous-crazy curles so i'm praying that this week i have a magical enlighlight and find the secret to mastering the art of drawing hair....for now: Day 1-
