| At the southern end of Tuscany is a secret jewel of the Mediterranean. Monte Argentario, the silver mountain, once an island is now connected by a causeway with its three fishing villages, bathed in the sun just about every day of the year with farmhouses surrounded by ancient olive groves and cypress trees. Inland is what is know as the Maremma, a beautifully wild area of Tuscany that is visited by those that have seen Tuscany and are looking for something different. Stunning villas, built by wealthy Romans, used as luxury weekend retreats are found throughout the area, along with authentic food and strong wines. We have villas facing to sea, on hilltops and deep into the wild countryside, all with private swimming pools and maids, hand picked by Tuscany now. |
