Villa di Bagnolo is the substantial manor house of a wine and olive oil estate just outside Florence. Believed to date from the 18th century, the building has just been restored and redecorated from top to bottom, with no expense spared. A hilltop position ensures superlative views of Florence and the Tuscan countryside; for an even better look the adventurous can climb to the towers and terrace on the roof.
