The pool is first rate and the grounds were very nice.

That is was an old historic building of great interest.

It was a 300 year old villa with frescos. The plumbing and electricity were excellent (not always the case with these old properties.) Also, the washing machine and dishwasher worked perfectly. Nice big kitchen with good cooktop, plenty of dishes. Giacomina and Roseanne were wonderful. They didn't speak English, but we figured things out. Giacomina was kind and warm. They were efficient and good cooks. They were delightful.

We liked the ambiance of the old palladian villa, the frescoes, the grounds. It was truly like living in a castle. Even our "modernists" fell in love with it.

It is beautiful inside and out, very comfortable and spacious with a wonderful outlook and grounds.It felt like we were staying in a stately home.
