Villa Zambonina is a magnificent 17th century Palladian villa set on a six hundred-acre farming estate near the splendid city of Verona. Stately and elegant, it is nonetheless a very comfortable house in which high ceilings, terracotta floors and a number of frescoes provide a backdrop to lovely antiques. There are several different sitting rooms, as well as a library, a study and a billiards room. The six bedrooms have views over the large courtyard or over a beautiful Italian garden. A gate off the courtyard leads to a large swimming pool set on a lawn with plenty of teak loungers. A spacious pergola with garden furniture and a barbeque for dining al fresco stands nearby. A short drive from the sights of Verona, the Villa Zambonina provides a wonderful base from which to explore the whole of the Veneto, from Lake Garda to the Dolomites.
