A pretty contemporary villa designed along traditional lines with air-conditioned bedrooms, Villa Macchiano is set in the gentle hills near Lake Bracciano, a short drive north of Rome. The villa's large garden with majestic cypresses and extensive lawns is surrounded with cultivated fields, ensuring complete privacy. The views are lovely from the comfortably furnished interior of the house and from its loggia designed for lounging and al fresco meals. The lounging and sunbathing opportunities are even better on the wide flagstone terrace around the swimming pool.
