We liked the location, nestled in the valley and close to Asciano. the horses, working farms close by but at enough of a distance. the grounds--not large--but diverse areas:pool terrace, dining loggia, yard for kids to play. kitchen was well outfitted with cooking implements. comfortable living spaces and furniture

It would be easier to say what I didn't like which was nothing!!! We loved Villa Le Focaie. The setting is perfect. The location is very central for numerous day trips. The Villa itself exceeded our expectations. The owners/caretakers were so very nice and helpful.

A truly enjoyable experience, we wish we could have stayed longer.The little grey cat was a definite highlight and it helped to make us feel very homely.The sunsets and twighlights were so dramatic and lovley to watch. The horses were also a treat and were lovley to see, watch out for the "friendly" try to bite you All in all a wonderful experience and a good break. Thank you.
