Overview
Il Buon Riposo is a large, welcoming villa set on a hilltop near the village of Impruneta, just south of Florence. Overlooking twenty acres of private land, including a lovely informal garden and terraced olive groves and orchards, this rambling old country home offers spacious rooms filled with unusual antiques and period details. Two living rooms and a number of outdoor sitting areas provide lots of options for a large group with mixed agendas. The swimming pool, set on a broad terrace at the edge of the garden, is one of the property's finest features, offering splendid views and plenty of loungers from which to enjoy them. Next to the pool is a large loggia with a barbeque and dining table for sunny lunches and starlit dinners. Although wonderfully peaceful, Il Buon Riposo is ideally located for touring Florence and Chianti. Horseback riding, tennis and golf are all available within a few minutes' drive. |
