The abbey of San Pietro in Lamosa at Provaglio d’Iseo, 7km/5 miles, is a must-see, as are the unique peat moss beds nearby. The beautiful village of Sirmione, on Lake Garda, is a 45-minute drive.

Railway station and bus stop free parking at Bornato, 1km/0.5 miles. Ample parking just outside the villa’s walls; guests can stop briefly in front of the villa to unload luggage and shopping.
