High in the hills along the Tiber Valley and at the very centre of Umbria, the Villa Emma is an immaculately restored farmhouse with a hundred acres of private land and facilities worthy of a country club. Extensive private grounds include a large swimming pool with an adjacent pool house, a private all-weather tennis court and, in a restored barn, a games house equipped with a bar, billiards and ping-pong table. Beamed ceilings and terracotta floors set the tone for the interiors, where the large rooms have been tastefully and very comfortably furnished.
