Overview
A large and well-designed modern villa, Villa Campagnano offers all the essentials for a relaxing holiday in a beautiful and deeply historic part of Italy. The bright, airy rooms are very comfortably furnished and are equipped for a variety of indoor activities, such as billiards. A spacious, shady terrace provides an ideal spot for a quiet read and for al fresco meals with a lovely view of the countryside. Broad lawns surround the house and the large swimming pool. The Etruscans, whose main cities were located in this area just north of Rome, had been all but obliterated by the Romans by 250BC. Their monuments are intermingled with those of their conquerors, and with the grandiose architectural legacies of the Renaissance. The Villa Campagnano offers a splendid base for visits to all these sights, for wonderful walks and for world-class golfing. |
