Overview
Set on a soft terraced hillside facing the sea and surrounded by olive trees, Villa Andrea offers absolutely breathtaking views of the rugged coastline facing west towards the Tyrrhenian Sea. This tiny strip of Basilicata that touches Italy's western shore offers all the scenic beauty and culinary temptations of the Amalfi Coast with none of the crowds. The old stone farmhouse has been freshly restored and converted into a very comfortable coastal retreat with tasteful furnishings and modern fittings. A swimming pool lies on a terrace just above the house. There are lovely beaches along the shoreline, punctuated by rocky coves and grottoes, and in the hillsides a series of very pretty villages of Greek or Etruscan origin wait to be explored.
