The rooms were spacious with en suite baths and the furnishings were exceptional

Everything was beautiful, grand, and well-laid out. The kitchen was very useful, the gardens magnificent, the pool area user friendly and beautiful. We especially liked the front outdoor sitting/eating area especially in the evening. Having access to the adorable town of Betolli via a "secret door" in the gate was terrific!

The beauty of the villa and grounds, the details inside and out designed to make our stay memorable and comfortable, and the care shown in its upkeep are matched by the warm, unobtrusive attention given by the gracious caretaker, Renata Bernardini. We stayed for two weeks, the first with friends and the second a once-in-a-lifetime introduction to Tuscany for our children and grandchildren. We had a splendid time and can't wait to convince a few other couples to join us to return!

The location was ideal for exploring all of the main towns in Tuscany. The property itself was very spacious, with lovely common areas downstairs and well-appointed bedrooms. The pool and barbecue area was spectacular. All in all just a fantastic experience.

Vecchia Fattoria was wonderful! We loved being part of the little town of Bettolle, which is not a tourist town- but real Italy! We shopped in the deli and got to know the local shopkeepers as we were there for 5 weeks. The house was old, spacious, full of character and most of all it felt like home from the moment we arrived. Great swimming pool and surrounding area. The pool being separate from the house was a bonus as we had our 18 month old grandson with us for two weeks and the whole area around the house and pool was so safe. Another huge plus was Renata!She was helpful, warm, friendly- would do anything to help- and encouraged my very poor Italian with a smile!

We adored the pool and grounds. The house was filled with charm and the housekeeper/cook was outstanding! The pool was much appreciated because it was close to 100 degrees every day we were there! The location was outstanding for day trips to all the wonderful cities in Tuscany....Siena, Florence, and Montepulciano.
