Location
Set in the Montagnola Hills west of Siena, 15 minutes, and south of hilltop Monteriggioni, 20 minutes. The nearest shops and restaurants are in Sovicille, 5 minutes. To the north-west, historic Colle di Val d’Elsa is on the way to San Gimignano, 40 minutes. To the north-east lies Castellina-in-Chianti, 35 minutes, at the centre of the Classico region. Two abbeys with walking trails, Monte Oliveto Maggiore and San Galgano, are 1 hour’s drive.

Simple glassed-in kitchen with an antique bread oven and a breakfast table leading out to a paved terrace with a dining table. Bathroom with bath.
First floor
Small and cosy sitting room with TV, an open fireplace and a small porch.
Second floor
Small double bedroom and a bathroom with shower.
Grounds
Surrounded by 1ha/2 acres of olive groves. The swimming pool, 3 x 4m/10 x 13 feet, and the hot tub are set on a terrace immediately outside the house.
Assistance
Assistance is provided locally by the property's offsite caretaker. Services included in the rental fee, and optional services available, are noted under Price and Availability.

Simple kitchen with a hob only. Barbeque. Washing machine. Satellite TV. CD player. Working fireplace.

Access
Airports: Florence, just over 1 hour; Pisa, 1 hour 40 minutes. Motorway exit at Colle Val d'Elsa Nord, 28km/18 miles along paved roads until the bumpy white road to the property itself.
Activities
Great walking area through WWF protected areas around the hamlet or near two hilltop monasteries within an hour's drive. Tennis and riding within 10 minutes. Hot air ballooning over the crete senese, also a great area for mountain biking. Pool details
The pool has a depth of 1.6m/5 feet and steps for entry/exit.
Suitability
Not suitable for very tall guests as the ceilings are fairly low.
