It's historic character and the fantastic views. Sunrise viewed through the bedroom window was spectacular. The secluded garden and pool and the pergola were beautiful.

We would describe Torre Chiggi as idyllic. The setting is superb and the property is rustic and full of charm. The real highligh of the propoerty is the seclusion and privacy that it offers. It is an ideal retreat for a peaceful holiday. It is also a very romantic setting as my fiance and I go engage there while were on holiday.

The house had a wonderful charm and the surrounding olive groves and views made it very special. The house was beautifully furnished and was in keeping with the style of the property. We loved the solitude. Sylvia, the caretaker, was a charming, lovely lady and she was very courteous and helpful.

Torre Chigi: Beautiful location in an Olive grove, simply but stylishly decorated. A welcome basket was provided even though we had not requested one which was a nice suprise and very thoughtful.

Wonderful seclusion but close enough to some fabulous local restaurants and delis. Amazing view, infinity pool and extensive patio, barbeque and lounging areas both in full sun and in shade. Well maintained garden with pond full of life. Large array of interesting plants and trees which inspired us for our own Hampshire garden. I particularly enjoyed the kitchen as a foodie and had many trips to local delis to try all the local in season produce. Spacious living areas with cosy corners for reading the intersting library collection. Nearby Sovicille was fantastic with great restaurant and fresh local deli supplies. Environs held more great little shops, enotecas and walks. Proximity to Siena (15 mins by car) which I fell in love with and I would also recommend a trip on the nature train, a must for all ages!
