Little Torre Chigi rises at the end of a private drive within easy walking distance of the hamlet of Ancaiano. Originally constructed as a watchtower, it was converted in the 15th century into a toll house by the Chigi family, and more recently into a tiny romantic hideaway. The tower's location just outside Siena and its many charming features - the antique bread oven in the ground floor kitchen, the pool and hot tub with stunning views of the hills, a cosy sitting room with satellite television and beamed ceilings throughout - combine to make this a matchless retreat for two.
