Overview
Scuderie del Falco ('Stables of the Falcon') is a new villa in a design that combines traditional Sicilian architecture with a sophisticated modern décor. Built on two levels from local 'tufa' limestone, it features a very spacious, gallery-like living/dining room on the ground floor with tall glass doors opening to the garden. An interior balcony overlooks the living area and leads into the bedrooms, all of which have ensuite bathrooms and air-conditioning. The villa is surrounded by a lush garden and several acres of citrus groves, which produce oranges and mandarins throughout the winter months. A dining loggia overlooks the nicely-designed swimming pool and its sunny terrace. Although seemingly well off the beaten track, Scuderie del Falco is in fact only ten minutes' drive from Selinunte, a vast area of spectacular Greek ruins and an hour's drive from bustling, exotic Palermo. |
