Sixteenth century San Bartolomeo occupies its own hilltop at the end of a long drive through a private five-hundred-acre estate that produces wine and olive oil. Beautifully restored, both the main house and the adjacent guest house-cum-barn are decorated in a bright and fresh style that contrasts beautifully with the original terracotta floors and beamed ceilings. A swimming pool is set above the main house, with loungers and umbrellas positioned at vantage points for wonderful views of the valley.
