The owners and their assistants (Lesandro) beautiful, helpful people, the place itself, spectacular and extremely well kept. The position and peace wonderful.

Its location. The views are wonderful and it is very very private. Maria Theresa is absolutely lovely. She made us feel very welcome and looked after us beautifully. Lisandro cooked excellent pizzas in the wood oven and his wife, Svetlana, prepared some delicious meals for us.

Vast gardens/olive groves etc and fabulous travertine around the pool. But mostly being so secluded - no neighours to see or hear. The kitchen had the most comprehensively stocked crockery and kitchen utensils I have ever seen. The best room with a view in the house is the bathroom - absolutely sublime especially first thing in the morning.

The secluded setting that was private and yet convenient to shop in a nearby town. The view was fantastic and we enjoyed walking around the olive groves. The ambiance inside was delightful.

Not only was it beautiful, but it was scrupulously clean! I've been in 5-Star hotels that were not as immaculate as the villa Poggio del Fattore. Also, we were very pleased that the directions to the villa were so excellent. We were nervous about driving from Florence to Bucine because we'd heard that it's so easy to get lost in Italy, but the directions were perfect. The beds were very comfortable; the laundry and bathroom facilities quite good, and the pool was very nice (cold, but nice).(...) I was so delighted at the excellent condition of the villa. I was very nervous that the villa would not compare to the photos from the Website, but we were completely delighted and more than satisfied (and you know how critical Americans can be!).

The view was wonderful. The accomodations were everything we had hoped for. The property was remote enough for peace but close enough so we didn't feel isolated.

Fantastic throughout. Magnificent location and views. We had some staff come round to cook pizzas one evening. They were very friendly and the food was very good.

The property was better than very nice - close to sublime. The situation was beautiful, the views stunning. We really appreciated the solitude and peace. The swimming pool was also beautiful. And Alisandro, the caretaker, was lovely.

The villa was awesome! We liked everything about it, but having the pool really made it great. We enjoyed the privacy as well as the close proximity to Bucine. There are several really good restaurants near by as well.

We first went to Poggio del Fattore in 2003, Maria Teresa and Lissandro were wonderful then and provided a wonderful welcome and great service 8 years later. Serenity, lovingly maintained, nice kitchen well stocked with pots, pans and dishes.
