We had the most amazing holiday with our two daughters and parents. The house and pool are stunning and we have enjoyed such simple things as a family. .....Every few days the gardener delivered fresh fruit and veg. Which was a lovely bonus. The natural setting, in a vinyard, with sheep grazing in the field next to the property, was amazing. The property was beautifully landscaped, with an herb garden to enhance our nightly meal. The gazebo next to the pool, where we'd congregate for wine and chats, was the focal point of our stay.The house itself was large, clean and very comfortably furnished. In short, a perfect vacation retreat.

Just a quick note to let you know how much we enjoyed our stay at your lovely villa Palareto. We had an absolutely wonderful time, especially our young son Ben, who spent all his time in the garden and swimming in the pool. The Villa is an absolute gem and the gardens must give you (as it did us) much joy and satisfaction. I cannot express how much we enjoyed the traditional nature of the house, the loving restoration, and the locality of Piana, Castiglione de Lago and the region surrounding. As an aside i believe you should include pictures of the inside of the house in your advertisements. We were pleasantly suprised by the standard of the interior as we were somewhat 'sceptical' that there were few on the website through which we booked. We will be thoroughly recommending Palareto to all our friends in both the UK and Australia as it is an experience which should be enjoyed by all. Many thanks for making our holiday special.

Our bed very comfortable, lovely clean home. Palareto with its smart leafy coat and beautiful gardens is such a pleasure. The ritual of closing-up before leaving each day and then opening-up when coming ‘home’ animates this place, as do these wonderful log books. Nera doing a feline jig in the driveway is so sweet. Stella very dignified. I can’t resist giving them some treats each day. I will tell everyone back in Australia about Palareto.

The house and grounds were magnificent, Luca was extremely helpful, the gardener and his gifts of fruit and vegetables all helped to encompass the dream we have had of our visit to Italy........We have had this Italian holiday booked for 12 months and the one thing we have looked forward to the most was the week we booked at our Italian villa, and WOW! We have not been disappointed. Magical, idyllic, perfect, romantic words cannot really explain this place called Palareto.

We ALL had a super time staying in your beautiful home in Piana (the best equipped house we have ever stayed in). We went out most days returning in the early afternoon to the garden (which was just perfect for 2 year old Edward, who made a real friend of Nera!) and the pool was great for "cooling off" swims. We feel that everyone benefited greatly from our stay at Palareto - spending quality time with each other in a beautiful villa in the most beautiful country in the world............infact,our family spent a great deal of the holiday trying to persuade John and I to go villa-hunting in Italy!!

It was just as beautiful and perfect as you described, more so in fact.We had a wonderful wedding ceremony in Pienza and the subsequent reception was perfection. Your villa was ideal with it's large garden space and downstairs facilities. No problems occured at all. Even the weather was perfect. Michael was very helpful throughout (even getting the pool lights looked at when we asked about them).We would recommend the property and service you provide to anyone and will be happy to be quoted or used as a reference if you require.

Wonderful villa, had a great time. Carlo brought us peppers, zucchini and eggplant which we enjoyed, and the grapes were ripe and we had them every day except when we came back in the evening on 30th Sept and they had all been picked!...... We had a delicious week here with our friends, wonderful, thank you.

The Pool was great, furnishings throughout were very good. For us the location was perfect and not too isolated. Felt more like a home than a holiday villa, very impressed.
