Walking distance, 300m/yards, from Lecchi in Chianti, a pretty village with a food shop, a restaurant, a post office and a 12C castle. The wine centre of Gaiole-in-Chianti, with several restaurants - and another castle - is 5km/3 miles away, and Radda-in-Chianti, 9km/6 miles, is the area’s largest town. Siena is a gorgeous 30km/19-mile drive down the Chiantigiana ‘wine road.’ The centre of Florence is reached in about 1 hour.
