We have never had such a peaceful holiday, the good thing was that it was secluded and we would venture out every other day and rest by the pool or sit on a hill and just read on the next. We were fortunate to have the owners join us on our last weekend, we had dinner together and they slept over (at our request) we had a leisurely breakfast the next day and they took us to a nearby town which we had missed during our stay, we had a lovey lunch and said our good byes. I have to tell you that people make the holiday. We also loved the restauranteurs in the next town. We became very friendly with them and very spoilt, because the service was splendid, the food unbelievable and the prices perfect.

Beautiful setting and fantastic views. Very quiet and peaceful. Well equipped. Wonderful pool.Lovely and large.

What an extraordinary time and place. sitting on the grass above the pool and looking at the amazing vista, listening to the birds and sounds of nature The stars at night a map in the sky with a mass of twinkling lights on a black background. the country road leading to Le casaline at first a little shoking then a sign that we have arrived home, from where ever we were visiting. At different times we saw a baby cingiale ( boar ) a sleek fast deer, a quail, a fox, an owl.

What a wonderful villa and everything went well we went to Elba, Volterra, Follonica, Lucca, Siena, Cecina and all the places in between. We visited Cacciatore near Perugia on the hill and had some nice dinner. the 8 of us had a lovley time. We hope we will come back some time and spend some more time in this wonderful part of the world. USA
