Overview The Rocca di Rasina is one of our most beautiful properties - and most historic, as it dates back over a thousand years. Set high in the hills on the Tuscan-Umbrian border,the immaculately-maintained private castle once stood at the edge of the papal territories and formed part of their defense. It is surrounded by eight hundred acres of private land, including a walled and gated park with sweeping lawns, a beautiful terraced pool area and several shaded sitting areas. The interiors, with their lovely antique furnishings and burnished terracotta floors, are flooded with sunlight through large windows that offer spectacular views of the countryside. Living areas and bedrooms are arranged on a single level around an interior courtyard that provides a striking milieu for al fresco dinners, perhaps featuring the local truffles and fine wines.
