Overview
La Nobile Cipressaia, built in the 18th century by a Florentine family as summer residence, sits elegantly as it has for centuries just minutes from the city centre of Florence. A small drive leads through the estates gates, up to the rear of the villa, into a lush garden with extensive lawns and splendid cypress trees with views of the surrounding hills. The interior is just as elegant as the villas facade with the original terracotta floors and high ceilings that guarantee cool temperatures. The master bedrooms are air conditioned for that added comfort. A real Tuscan kitchen, with marble counter tops awaits those that want to devour in some serious cooking, but there is an alternative. The couple that live in the independent farmhouse set at the rear of the villa can arrange fantastic meals, they ensure that the house and grounds are kept to the highest level of maintenance. The front of the villa has a beautiful terracotta terrace, furnished with a dining table ideal for al fresco meals. The ground floor has a dinning room and a wonderful sitting room, furnished in antiques and with comfortable modern settees. The bedrooms are spacious with large windows looking out into the villas park. The pool is set on a lawned terrace that enjoys beautiful views of the countryside, furnished with teak garden furniture. |
