Overview
Hidden by large gates on the edge of a sleepy village enjoying beautiful views of Orvieto sits La Luna. As comfort comes this has to be one of the most elegant and refined rental properties in Italy. The gates lead into an immaculate garden, with lawns and flower beds that are elegant as the villa. The ground floor is dedicated entirely to sumptuous living, with a wonderful sitting room and a study leading out onto the shaded terrace facing the nearby medieval city. The fittings and furnishings are all collectors’ pieces, ranging from Roman and Etruscan artefacts to the 18th century. Each bedroom enjoys a private sitting room or sitting area leading out on to numerous terraces. The private pool with roman mosaics is set in a corner of the garden, furnished with the same care and pride as the house. |
