Very extensive, well maintained private gardens - ideal for lazy days reading. Balcony for dining - with excellent views fo the Tuscan hills and cooling breezes. Historic villa with real character - oodles of space and full of interesting objects. Excellent bedrooms.

Giclaudiere, ambiance, view, location, calm, host/owner, and space inside the property! The pool was a blessing. The owner was most helpful, welcoming and attentive (especially with regards to our children) while discrete. It was a pleasure to have met him and share the occasional "aperitivo". The housekeeper makes a splendid evening meal of local cuisine. Well worth sitting down for.

We loved staying at La Giclaudiere, the gardens and house are beautiful! We really enjoyed ourselves.

The fact that it was in the middle of a very small village with no other tourists. This afforded us the opportunity to really experience Italian life. It was also very quiet and had a sense of isolation. The villa owner, however, made periodic visits to ensure that all was well.
