Overview
La Casa di Montegrossi sits on a terraced hillside, facing west, high in the Chianti hills enjoying stunning views of the countryside just minutes from the charming village of Gaiole in Chianti. This large stone farmhouse has been lovingly restored, its beautiful stone walls aged by hundreds of years of sun and rain have been barely touched, where the inside has been converted into a very comfortable home of a very high standard with spacious bedrooms, modern ensuite bathrooms and a number of sitting areas enabling even a large group to find privacy from each other should the need arise. The nearby village offers plenty of restaurants and as this is one of the prime areas for producing Chianti, wine here is in abundance. There are a number of terraced areas, where to enjoy the view, a oversized twenty five meter pool, sits on a lawned terrace below the house. |
