At the foot of a steep hill, a simple and utterly peaceful garden with lemon trees and a rocky path with steps leading to the pebble beach 200m/yards away. The private swimming pool, 3.5 x 10m/11 x 32 feet, is set near the large deck for sunbathing and a dining table tucked under the trees next to the house for hot days. Wooden decking conceals the above-ground construction of the pool.

Monte Argentario is reached via Tuscany’s coastal road and one of the two long causeways that stretch from the mainland to the presqu’ile - a total of 19km/12 miles from the mainland to the house along paved but increasingly twisting roads. Parking for two cars.
