Within walking distance [1km/0.5 miles] of tiny Pozzuolo, south-west of Lake Trasimeno. The fortified promontory of Castiglione del Lago offers a castle, beaches and sailing 15 minutes' drive to the north, and to the south is the little hilltop town of Chiusi with its Etruscan tombs and museums. Two more hilltop villages, Montepulciano and Cortona, can be reached in about 20 minutes, and the hilltop city of Perugia in 30 minutes. Further afield are Siena, Arezzo and Orvieto, all less than an hour away.

The swimming pool, 7 x 13m/23 x 42 feet, is reached through the pool house and down a short flight of steps. The pool house offers a beautiful setting for al fresco meals in a covered portico with a dining table for 12, a barbeque and a pizza oven, as well as a conservatory, a games room and a gym.
