Overview
Il Villino is a splendidly restored farmhouse that sits on a round hilltop not far from Lake Trasimeno and Chiusi on the Tuscan-Umbrian border. Extremely comfortable and filled with artistic touches, the house is decorated in a colourful blend of contemporary furniture and antiques, and filled with luxuries such as a jacuzzi, a steam shower, a small gym and a serious cook's kitchen. There are shady outdoor sitting and dining areas attached to both the house and a beautifully furnished pool house. The fan-shaped pool is set into an impeccably maintained lawn, with endless views of a gently rolling landscape. There is something to please everyone in this area: villages and castles to explore, a lake for boating and windsurfing, wineries and fine foods, a selection of world class golf courses, and even a semi-annual jazz festival.
