Overview
A freshly-restored 18th century farmhouse, Il Renaccio and its large guest house sit in privacy on a soft, round hill top enclosed by beautiful lawns with olive trees, quite literally surrounded by hill towns, including San Gimignano and Certaldo. While many of the original features remain, the old buildings have been thoroughly modernised with a full complement of ensuite bathrooms, satellite televisions in every room and air-conditioning throughout. A long dining table to fit the entire party lends itself to cheerful gatherings in the evening. For all the comforts inside, guests are likely to spend their days in the garden, particularly in the enormous loggia that overlooks the swimming pool and offers spectacular views of the countryside. A terrace amply supplied with loungers connects the loggia with the main house. Further down the hill is the property's private, all-weather tennis court. |
