Located on the western coast of the Monte Argentario peninsula, Il Picchio gazes out over the sea towards the islands of Giglio, Elba and Montecristo. The contemporary villa and its garden have been designed on three levels to make the most of the truly exceptional views and the spectacular sunsets over the Mediterranean. One enters at the top floor, where a shaded terrace wraps around two sides of the building and leads into a spacious living room, indoor and outdoor dining areas and a modern kitchen. On the level below, several bedrooms and a second sitting area open onto a second, partly shaded terrace with small trees and pots of flowers. The last, lowest and sunniest terrace is occupied by the very large swimming pool.
