Il Nestorello is a gracious stone farmhouse on a hillside just south of Perugia and Lake Trasimeno. The main house and its guest house for two face each other across a lovely courtyard; the arched bridge at one end allows guests to move between the principal living room and the pool terrace without troubling with steps. Inside, the spacious rooms feature beamed ceilings and exposed stone walls, decorated throughout with contemporary furniture and antiques. Most of the bedrooms are on the ground floor, leaving the best views to the large first floor living room with its open fireplace. An extremely well-equipped kitchen serves a lovely dining room with a long table to fit the entire party. The pool is set next to an olive grove on a wide stone terrace that lends itself to lazy days in the sunshine. A pretty restored barn at the foot of the pool is furnished for lounging and dining and equipped with a music system.
