Situated in the rich farmlands and wooded hills of the upper Tiber Valley, minutes from Montone, 2km/1.5 miles, a pretty hill village with a wonderful museum and several shops and restaurants. The larger city of Umbertide lies 12km/8 miles to the south, while to the north Citta di Castello offers an interesting "centro storico" with an impressive Duomo. Day trips might include Gubbio, 45 minutes, or Arezzo in Tuscany, 1 hour.
