Overview
A peaceful old stone farmhouse with beautifully modernised interiors, Fabreto is set at the top of a hill at the end of a long private white road. The views sweep over cultivated fields to gentle hills dotted with farmhouses and ancient watchtowers. Spacious rooms are amply supplied with couches and armchairs for reading and lounging, and decorated with fine art and antiques. The swimming pool, set at the end of a lovely garden, is equipped with teak loungers and a pool house with a summer kitchen. Two dining loggias are perfectly positioned to capture the splendid views and summer breezes. The Val d'Orcia is a wonderful area for walking as it boasts several natural reserves and a liberal helping of interesting sights, from the Medicean sulphur baths at Bagno Vignoni to the little-known but immensely historic village of Radicofani and the wine centres of Montalcino and Montepulciano.
