In the sparsely populated hills west of Todi, just off what is arguably one of Umbria's loveliest country roads. 3km/2 miles from the little village of Casemasce and its shop [open Sundays] and 12km/8 miles or 25 minutes from Todi, a spectacular medieval hill town. Orvieto, larger but no less beautiful, is 26km/16 miles away, and Perugia and Assisi can both be reached within an hour. The hillsides leading down to Lake Corbara and the Tiber River lie in the protected Parco Fluviale del Tevere with lovely walking and riding trails.

Parking for four cars along the property’s short, gated drive.

Terrific country for walking and riding; stables within 10 minutes' drive. Lake Corbara and the surrounding hills are part of the Tiber River Park, which was recently established as a nature reserve. Fishing and canoeing are popular, as well as white water rafting at the Forra di Prodo. Tennis at Todi.
