Caprareccia occupies its own sun-soaked hilltop in the most sought-after area of Umbria, between the medieval towns of Todi and Orvieto. Although newly constructed, the house and its adjacent guest house have the look and feel of age-old Umbrian farm buildings, from their stone walls and fireplaces to their tiled roofs and high, wood-beamed ceilings. Glass doors lead from the ground floor living areas to the garden and a shady dining loggia. The interiors, with walls hand-finished in warm colours, are very comfortably furnished in a style that lends itself to year-round use. The views throughout are simply breathtaking, sweeping over a rolling countryside with Todi as the centrepiece.
