Overview Basciano is a splendid 12th century farmhouse built around a thousand-year-old tower situated on a hilltop in the Chianti Rufina region and surrounded by the estate's olive groves and extensive vineyards. The property was very carefully restored and converted into a number of spacious apartments, all very comfortably furnished in keeping with the antique terracotta floors and beamed ceilings. A large swimming pool with garden furniture is set on a lawned terrace just below the farmhouse overlooking the vineyards and the valley leading into Rufina. The apartments share a large loggia above the swimming pool with tables and chairs for al fresco eating.
