About Tuscany Now

Tuscany Now was founded in 1990 by Simon and Barbara Ball with a portfolio that included a single house, their family home just outside Florence. Our 'family' has grown to include a staff of 15 in London and Florence, and the owners of the 200 properties presented on this website who entrust us with their valuable homes. All of us are devoted to providing you with the ideal setting for your stay in the most beautiful country in the world - Italy.

We take a very focused approach to our business. Our portfolio is restricted to properties that are made available to us on an exclusive basis, that meet our standards of quality and offer the features we consider essential. We inspect each property regularly to ensure proper maintenance and make note of any changes. Our policy of working directly with the property owners, and never through agencies, ensures seamless logistics and shared standards of service and hospitality. Our staff is composed entirely of Italians or Italophiles who have lived and worked in the country and know it well.
